what's the date?

Wouldn't it be far more interesting (or, simply interesting nonetheless) to have thirty or so odd faces reminding you what day of the week it is? Lets just agree that it would be... The human calender, although not a completely original idea (sshhh), is the innovative little brainwave bixouse is currently working on. The human calender is a photo montage of people's portraits, each single portrait acting as a date of the month, whilst others may act as days of the week. Then, using my wondrous photoshop skills, I will unite the photos into a month, in this case, upcoming October. It might seem like a blur at this moment, but don't fret, it'll be clear once you give it a go. I promise the end result to be an amusing and arty one.

Today, the word was passed around (definitely not manipulatively and forcefully) and thank you to everyone who kindly partook. It's not too late, in fact there are twenty dates left waiting to be filled (which are filling up very quickly). It's simple, all you need is your lovely face, a 9cm X 9cm BLANK paper, and your digi cam.

If you kindly follow these guidelines, it'll make the process much easier for me.

• Include your shoulders and the top of your head
• Photo needs to be taken centre front view (e.g. no angles)
• When posing with your blank 9cm X 9cm paper, position it so that it is between your chest and top of your head (preferably touching your chin or cheek)
• Your head and/or eyes MUST be looking either directly up, down, left or right
• However, the funnier, cuter or sillier the poses the better
• Good lighting required
  
• Background is of your choice, as long as it is appropriate, not too busy and there are no people (outdoor photos are good!)

I agree, utter perfectionist, but the photo's proportions do need to be precise in order for the calender to execute smoothly. You can send multiple shots if you're unsure whether it's done right or not. Send them here before the weekend so that the October faces will be ready for viewing this Sunday. Remember, sending your photo in means you agree for it to be published on a public blog. I look forward to some comical faces!
